ALUMNI
Students who have taken their degrees at Libertas Business College become members of the association called Libertas Alumni Club . The main goal of this club is to ensure continuous networking long after the students have finished their studies. In this way all generations of students who have graduated at the college get a chance to communicate and create business contacts by exchanging experience, information, knowledge and ideas.
In his welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the Alumni Club, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Professor Slobodan Uzelac pointed out that this association should connect our students to our graduates who have already started their careers. The club should help strengthen their business skills and competitiveness on the job market, and in this way speed up their entry into the world of business. Through the exchange of ideas it will also increase their practical knowledge essential for high quality professional work.
The Libertas Alumni Club already draws together 300 graduates in economics who, it ought to be pointed out, have already entered employment.
Mr. Gojko Ostojić, the dean of the College, said at the Constitutional Assembly, that Libertas graduates, as a rule, do not have to wait months for employment or send off hundreds of job applications. Many of them will already have been offered at least one job during their studies or immediately upon graduation. Mr. Ostojić believes that this is due to the fact that the college provides a continuous combination of practical experience and theoretical knowledge. |
