ENROLMENT OF STUDENTS INTO THE SECOND AND THIRD YEARS OF THE UNDERGRADUATE COURSE BY TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER TERTIARY LEVEL INSTITUTION

Students from faculties of economics and similar tertiary level educational institutions at home and abroad are allowed to enrol in the College if there is a good correspondence in the syllabus, curriculum and methods.
The status of student by means of transfer from another, similar tertiary level educational institution may be acquired in consequence of enrolment into the second or third year of the course.
A student who has gained 60 ECTS credits at an economic faculty or some similar tertiary level educational institution may be enrolled in the second year of the course.
A student who has graduated from a two-year course or who has gained 120 ECTS credits during the first and second years of a course at an economic faculty or some similar tertiary level educational institution may be enrolled in the third year of the course.
A student who has passed an examination at another tertiary level educational institution in subjects that correspond to subjects at the College may submit a written application for the examinations passed to be recognised.
For such recognition of examinations that have been passed at another tertiary level institution the student submits a written application to the administration of the College.  In addition to the application, the student must submit the student booklet, a statement of grades (or a certificate of the examinations passed) and the curriculum of the subject for which the recognition of the examinations that have been passed is sought.
If the applicant is a student of a similar foreign tertiary level educational institution, the application must be accompanied by not only the documents from the preceding paragraph but also the originals and authenticated translations of:

  • documents from which it can be seen that the institution is an institution of tertiary level education,
  • a statement of grades (transcript),
  • the course contents of the curriculum of the tertiary level institution in question.

If the applicant is not a citizen of the Republic of Croatia, as well as the documents given in the previous paragraph of this article, a high school graduation certificate that has been recognised in the Republic of Croatia and evidence of the necessary command of the Croatian language must also be appended.
While considering the application, the committee is bound to consult faculty who teach at the College those subjects for which the applicant has passed examinations at another tertiary level institution and is seeking to have recognised.
A student admitted for transfer to the College will have examinations recognised for subjects the curricula of which in course content and scope correspond at least 70% to the curricula of these same subjects at the College.
If the grading system of the tertiary level educational institution from which the student has transferred is not comparable, in the case of recognising the examinations, the committee will enter “passed” in the ruling.
